Weekend 12/4/2025 11:00 AM Event: (Bus 139 Leaves 11:30 AM (Sunday) – Arrives 01:00PM (90 mins)

This weekend we are going to a Darlık Baraj (dam) which is close to the famous town Şile. To those who would like to come for hiking, since we are planning to make this for camping and hiking, Husam is going to meet you at Uskudar’s Station and ride the bus 139 with you to the destination bus station Ahmetli Köyü Sapağı.

How to get to Ahmetli Köyü Sapağı:

To get to the meeting point, you will have to go to Üsküdar Marmaray station then walk to the ŞEMSİPAŞA KALKIŞ which is the 139 bus station.

Trekking Distance (18KMs total)

Starting from the Bus stop Ahmetli Köyü Sapağı in Şile, The trekking distance for one way will be around will be 9 kms (Could be slightly shorter or longer) and will take about 3 hours one way, so make sure you bring snacks and water with you!

Difficulty:

The difficulty level of this hike could be estimated to “Medium“. as the highest spot we’ll hike through is around 170m from sea level starting from 22ms and gradually going up. This is going to be our second time to hike in this place, and since it has been raining this week then we might expect that it will be little muddy! The hike is most likely going to be easy and the route is very beautiful and surrounded with trees. so we hope you join us.

To come to Darlık Barajı hike, There are two options one from Uskudar you can take the bus that goes to Şile 139. or you can take the bus 139T from Çekmeköy Metro. The exact bus station where the bus passes from is here

Food and Tea
There are Şok shop on the way and maybe some other shops as well so you don’t have to carry anything prior to the meeting point.

Required Gear for Hiking:

1- Shoes that would not get wet and not slippery on mud.

2- Hiking Sticks if possible (Optional).
